Atlas 40w T12 tube with mercury teardrops This tube has a lot of character, I pulled it out of the lamp bin amid a sea of T5s and T8s. Although I have lots of these already, I can't resist taking them whenever they appear as they have a tendency to have nice splotches and teardrops like this.

Of course it's only gone and rung off now... Sad

Should always keep Atlas and thorn tubes in tube sleeves it stops bits of grit scratching the tubes and ringing them off, that's what i've done for a few years now and not had any ring off since putting them in tube sleeves.
