What would happen if you run it on a switch start gear?

They work fine on switch start gear!

I've remember that my mother had an antique US GE FC8T9/D Rapid-Start circular fluorescent lamp long time ago. When I used it on her SS 22W circular fluorescent fixture at her kitchen, it didn't lasted.

I got some 30W T8s that are Philips and OSRAM too
