Thorn coloured 2D lamps - lit It was hard capturing these without getting too many 50hz flicker lines on my camera. These were tested in my newly acquired Thorn EMI fitting, very suitable, the colours the lamps produced were awesome and vibrant! On the left is blue and on the right lilac. Sadly one of the two lilac lamps I have doesn't seem to want to start!

Try using a slow shutter speed.

Well there some red one on Ebay you can add to your colour 2Ds, I wish I can get some thorn blue added in my collection

The Thorn Blue is bright Shocked The Lilac looks to of had some heavy use?

I'm guessing the blackening on the Lilac is just the mercury condensation that hasn't evaporated yet.

Yeah I've had a few old 2D's do that on first start.

Blue and purple is such a beautiful combination. The only coloured 2D is a AD blue type one and it is not a Thorn branded one
