Not something I'm probably ever going to use so it'll be put on my sale/trade list soon. Also available is another one but it's had all the gear & lamp holder stripped out.

Agreed. This looks like a Philips Tempo copy (or did Philips copy this?). It seems to be a solid unit though, I imagine this would last a long time. The only weakness I can see is the cover screws becoming seized, but they do have a bit blob of grease on each from the factory at least

It does look kind of Philips tbh. Seizing screws can’t really avoided when you have two dissimilar metals in contact tbh. Grease helps somewhat mind.
