Atlas double life Gold 40w (lost vacuum)
I found it in this state unfortunately, I still kept it due to it literally being one of my only coloured tubes. The tape was to hold the end (which surprise surprise had rung off completely...) Apparently it dates from 1964.

Shame about that, altho not a total surprise, these have an annoying habit of doing this. Never just the bog-standard white ones either, always something nice.

That the problem when it made on sylvaina machinery, Canada sylvania had this problem too on same type of lamp making machinery. I hope some of drumondville lamps dont go that way. In US GE got a problem doing it bit it rings up tube sprially and making a pile mess.
