Sunshine(?) 25w clear radio valve-shaped lamp
A very nice recent Ebay find was this old lamp from the 1940s. The story goes that after WW2 a lot of surplus radio valve envelopes remained, and what Sunshine did was they repurposed them into lamps, both clear and coloured I believe and then probably sold them for quite a low cost. (see my gallery for red and green versions also in my collection.) Anyway, this is quite a rare find, sadly the etch has rubbed off with no traces left.
