Quartz halide Globes The quartz halide lamps in these have done quite some hours as some have that faint death-flicker and the light given off has a greenish tint to it. Interestingly, these globes around the Salthouse and Canning docks in Liverpool have sections of these same globe fittings with SON lamps, warm-white CMH lamps, cool white quartz lamps and also retrofit COB LED lamps. Quite a varied selection!
