The first thing that stood out to me immediately with this light was the original starter, up to now I'd never seen a metal can Philips S10, or a metal can with a small hole, or 'viewing window' as I call it. Annoyingly the original wax capacitor failed dead short, meaning it wouldn't even attempt to light a tube, so I had to graft a new, modern capacitor into place instead restoring the starter back to working condition.
