Crompton 40w light pink candle lamp

Normally I would say these sorts of lamps are some kind of 3rd party colour coating job, but this lamp undoubtedly left the Crompton plant like this already. Somewhere I have a yellow version of this lamp which comes in the same sort of box. This lamp is probably from the 1990's, when Crompton made lamps with tiny etches that rubbed off very easily!
