These did have a tandancy to murder tubes - don't put anything you value too much in it as it might not last as long as you hope...

That has gone very yellow! Guess it's been about a while. As Slyspark said above it'll probably kill tubes like those little AA battery powered 4/8W fittings that used to be about Exclamation

I have one of these in the loft. Both tubes were toast when i got mine

Well I have to get these tubes out as the fixture is in not working condition - the battery has stopped working

Update: I managed to find 2x of this exact fixture, both in NOS condition Smile deos anyone want this one for restoration or shall I bin it (I will get the tubes out)
