HID Xenon GLS This is the ringed off blue GLS lamp which has been temporarily set up with an Automotive 35w HID Xenon bulb. Looks pretty cool though I won't be keeping it like this. There was no way I was holding that bulb either with its 22kv start up voltage, that's why its clamped in the 'helping hands'.

Is bright and being 4300k the colour is more blue also. Not sure how the blue coating would bear up longer term though, this bulb has an envelope around the arc tube to cut the UV, but not sure how well it does that.

Xenon Christmas lights!, love it! Cool , nice 12 volt supply too, I have the exact same one from my CB radio days!
