Mathmos Astro Lamp Invented in 1963 by British entrepreneur Edward Craven Walker, the lamp went on to become a cultural icon around the world. I've never actually owned one of these before and I got this as a Christmas present. There are many clones out there but this one is made by Mathmos, the original company founded by Edward Craven Walker and it's good to see that these are still made in the UK!
