Lovely GEC Z8691 mercury lantern
Pictured this evening in the village of Dunnington near York, I have no idea if this lantern still works, but I assume it does - given it is located near an intersection near the village high street. It's done well to survive this long!

Seems to have the 3 fuses from the cut-outs suspended from it

I believe the hanging fuses are spares. I've worked on a couple of pole brackets with fuses tied to them
