That's certainly an interesting find in this country! Looks like it's from the 1980s with the GTE logo.

GTE and Sylvania names were seen together at one time. Were they two separate companies that merged, probably after this tube was made?

|
Sylvania was taken over by General Telephone & Electronics (the present day Verizon phone company of the US) in 1959. Thereafter their products were branded GTE Sylvania. ITT-Claude became a part of Sylvania in 1968 and thereafter also sometimes used the logo of its parent company GTE. Claude was only used for the French-speaking markets. In 1993 GTE sold Its lighting division and then this branding changed. Sylvania also dropped the Claude brand around 2007.
