Calex 1000w GLS lamp
After seeing Photonicinduction blowing up a few of these lamps I thought I'd have to have a couple myself!
Seem quite well made and are reasonably inexpensive too.

Somebody somewhere must still be using these, for them to keep making them?

Blowing them up how and why?

On 500v from his monster 20kw power supply! Because he could probably. I've been playing with this and 1000 is reached at about 225v. On 240v this is pulling 1120 watts!

Do you know if these are still available please?
