So as well as optics, the lamps were pre-focused too!! Cool , just think, years ago they could have left these in streets, and just fitted SON to them! Very Happy

Don't forget though, filaments were always in different positions inside lamps, so it always required refocusing when a lamp change came. I wonder how many engineers actually bothered though Laughing
