Rubber Cable Crumbling Insulation The seller did say this fixture needed rewiring, they were not wrong! This fixture has been repaired probably more than once over the years, it has various random connector blocks and three types of cable, crumbling rubber, crumbling fabric coated VIR and some PVC. It will all be replaced with new PVC red & black (proper, original British cable colours!)
