PL-C “side lights”

Spotted these nifty lights set into the wall along the water front in St Helier, Jersey. On closer inspection they are PL-C lamps that use a blue gell filter. Not a single lamp was out, being near a marina with several hundred million pounds worth of yacht in it might have something to do with the good maintenance...
