Toshiba 18w Neoball 1 x BFLG240V18WW.OE/50 CFL from Toshiba. Quite an interesting "little" CFL made from all plastic with a Philips SL style magnetic choke and mini glowbottle starter. I bet these run quite warm as the back of the lamp has louvred vent slits and the opal diffuser has vent holes at the bottom. On the packet they list these as being available in daylight, "mellow-look", cool white and warm white. Claims a 6,000 hour life. Made in Japan.

These are a classic design and I like them but they feel a bit on the cheaply made side. I'm sure they would do the claimed lifespan mind.

Very very nice, I'm temped to grab a couple of these from Ebay. I would love to find one of the prismatic ones someday too
