GEC Sashalite photographic flash lamps

Purchased recently as part of a bundle of old photographic lamps on Ebay were these rather interesting old flash lamps which seem to share the same envelope as standard GLS lamps. These definitely date back to the period of the 2nd World War due to the presence of a paper rationing notice on the packaging.
