GEC 130w carbon heater lamp

Although carbon filament lamps fell out of favour for general lighting more or less by the 1920's (with the exception of a very limited quantity being made for decorative lighting), a few companies produced these carbon heat lamps right up until the 1990's or 2000's, among which was GEC. Sadly this lamp's etch is quite faded and the sleeve is quite crumpled, nonetheless a nice addition to the collection!
