Tubes like this tend to perform a bit better in a fitting with a diffuser, as it helps to keep the heat in.

@Oliver: Yeah these are good for diffused/enclosed fixtures such as wetherpacks Smile

They do get over this when in regular service though, used daily they start normally and only seem to do this when particularly cold Cool

@Beta 5: That's good cos this tube is NOS - I heard that their lifespan is pretty much decent Cool
