New Patio light
I finally got bored with the Thorn Gamma 6 which has been lighting up my back garden for the last 13 years.
It has been re-geared quite a few times since it was up from the original 80w MBF, to 35w CDM-T, then 50w MBF, then to 18w SOX and then finally to 11w PL-S.
I was going to leave it up until the 11w PL-S died but I got bored and decided to swap it out for this nice Kingfisher Sloan which I have fitted with a dual tap 50/70w choke and Sylvania 50w SON-E lamp.

It is actually quite good as it no longer directs light upwards into upstairs windows and allows me to see further back into the garden with far less glare.
You also can't beat the warm glow of SON!
