(Dead), ballast now running perfectly!

So this is now the supposedly dead VS ballast now working perfectly after a simple ‘block rotation’! But as it’s VS it naturally runs hot! Which is why I was interested for Mark to thermally measure one just to see how hot they run? Incidentally it’s running a clear, elliptical halide lamp, and there’s something about elliptical clear lamps that look so much better than they’re tubular counterparts don’t you think?
