StreetLight #073 Decorative clear globe streetlights. I thought these were pretty cool looking..and I've only seen them in this one area as well. Most of the light is directed downward, but the ring inside also has spots of light around it. ---sadly I heard these are scheduled to be replaced by some LED crap this year :( Location: Denver CO, 16th Street Mall

Interesting design, a bit like them Tesla coil balls they generate massive voltage through!

I'd love to have one, No idea when they are supposed to be replaced (article I read just said summer). I'm rarely down in the city though anyway, so basically no chance.
