11w Philips Master PL-E banding nicely. Interesting banding going on here. This is on from about noon to sometimes after midnight every day for a couple of years. iPad camera exposure makes the lamp look very dim, but it isn't.

These were probably the best CFL made in the 2000's every thing else were shit (exept German Osram of course)

Remember seeing a few lamps at my previous place of work doing similar. Never really figured out what was going on with them.

I wonder if that’s a flame sealing ring, like the one SOX get?, these are one of the best designed CFL ever Cool
