Thorn Gamma 8.
A restoration lasting 10 days, requiring every screw point to be re-threaded, and a total respray and rebuild, this Thorn Gamma 8 now lives on to fight the future. To see it light has been the highlight of this restoration. Internally it was in a dire condition, requiring every screw to be replaced, and every hole retapped and in some cases drilled, so its pretty much a factory fresh lantern.
As soon as restoration was complete I got it lit with a GE MBF lamp. This is probably the first time its been lit in about 10, or maybe even 20 years.
