I just hope the cable capacitance isn't too high to prevent ignition.
Edit: Which it isn't as the lamp struck first time with no complaining. I might replace the cable anyway as the flat two-core in it feels very cheap! Anybody know where you can get hold of a few metres of proper cable like what's fitted to the ballast here?
