Ahhh yes jools classic - I don’t know why these T9s always banded up so well I remember them as a kid they would soldier on for years!

I don't know what that starter motor is, but I have plenty of older motors to replace it with. & yup, I never got why these T9 circulars banded so well, I am guessing being unshielded helps here? (All the ones I have seen have been shield free)

I gave most of my circulars away but some were shielded especially German sylvanias

I was told that the circlines banded up due to the higher amount of emitter applied to the electrodes in effort to increase the brightness output hence why they band up faster
