GEC Z9580 35w SOX lantern (plus pigeon) It's been years since I've seen one of these lanterns, let alone one that still appears to be a SOX lamp... Some further down the road were fitted with LED retrofit lamps. Given most of these were all replaced years ago, I'm willing to bet these are all Parish-owned.

@Agenthalogen thanks! It's one of those tiny little narrow steel columns. This exact combo was once really popular in Cambridgeshire, you could find them in virtually every village around here.
