That’s quite clever, it’s like a mercury/tungsten lamp without a discharge tube

I thought these lamps lit like a low pressure germicidal lamps G4SII and therefore was strongly surprised that the filament light very well.
|

|
So what are these? Some sort of tungsten lamp with an unconfined mercury discharge for UV emission or to raise the colour temperature? I've never seen one of these before tbh!
