A common myna on the ground near Sammy Swarma restaurant

I would expect to see pigeons rather than this one on the ground.
Common mynas is an introduced bird. It originally imported for the Tzafari bird park at Tel-Aviv. The common myna escaped from their cage, and became an urban bird at Tel-Aviv-Jaffa and Gush Dan. From there, the common myna expanded north, south and east of Israel.
