Lithonia 3' T5 Fittings

2 3-foot T5 fittings, 1-lamp and 2-lamp: note how they used the same exact frame for both models.

Considering these are modern units, the frame construction on them is actually pretty good. They're made of decent thickness metal & feel fairly solid. The AccuPro HF ballasts in them are apparently fairly crappy though. And that double lampholder thing is a bit weird.

These look very similar to the T5 battens we have over here. I'll have to go Turd5 if they ban magnetic here

Its good to see T5 battens actually being sized to fit the `T` of the tubes, instead of using a T8 body with ugly lamp holders!

I got a few of each type since they were on clearance at a good price. One of the doubles is now up in the garage. We'll see how it does there

If you do eventually end up going T5, hopefully they'll be decently built like these. There's some pretty flimsy paper-thin metal crap out there LOL . I remember once seeing some 5' T5 singles...all plastic and you could bend & twist the things Laughing

@AngryHorse: I haven't seen that done with any of the T5 fittings here. They're all proper T5 sized. That one that was posted on here deff had ugly lampholders Laughing

conversion back to T8 woulda been easy though...
