James may know for sure? How many left in the box Phil?
lampy   [30 Aug, 2015 at 10:04 PM]
less than half a box

That's a shame these didn't last as long as the GB made 8 foots and the last German Sylvania were shockingly shit. The 125W 840 is bright as hell but lasts about 5 minutes

Think these are quiet good lamps, i recall this exact same frank on tubes in 'Superdrug' shop in out town, that opened very early 80's, it was full of these all in 8 foot, the first time i clocked a sylvania lifeline tube lol
Kev   [30 Aug, 2015 at 10:12 PM]
Maybe these do have coiled cathodes then being lifeline it's possible if you have an EOL one show us the cathode?

i dont know how good these are really as i'm running them on 8 foot 85 watt quickstart, these are the only suitable tubes in a pleasant colour i have to use, they dont last too long, but i think thats because of the wrong gear i'm running them on
Kev   [30 Aug, 2015 at 10:40 PM]
How long you getting from them? I think vicar had some proper 85W GB GE tubes
lampy   [30 Aug, 2015 at 10:40 PM]
probably get 4 years out of them, dayley useage in my kitchen
lampy   [30 Aug, 2015 at 10:41 PM]
