Holophane Wallpackette 400 & 41x

Here you see a comparison of a Holophane Wallpackette 400 (small) and the larger Wallpackette 41x. I'd never seen the small 400 model before, look how cute it is lol!

The 400 is designed to take up to 150w GLS lamps and the 41x here was originally for 125w mercury lamps but has been converted at some point to run 70w SON

Agreed, this was a good thing to see, I never realised Holophane made a baby of their wallpackette!, again as with the big ones, Holophane went with a decent heavy duty glass bowl Cool

Yes, was nice to see this smaller version! I see a few of these at the docks in Southampton, still installed, altho I've never seen them lit. Behind a security fence, so you can't get that close, so always wondered what these were intended to run, was cool to see inside one.

I've seen the odd Wallpackette in use like the 41x above, there's a couple in pedestrian alleys in use in Lincoln running 70w SON last time I was there. Scunthorpe hospital has a few larger Holophane Wallpack's in use, larger than the Wallpackette above, they're probably 150 or 250w SON. I've never ever seen a Wallpackette 400 anywhere.

Would the largest ones be the Module 600 Adam?, Northwich shopping centre used these for years running 250 watt SON, I think their still in use today? Cool
