Power Lighting 2x 8' T8 Ballast
Ballast for a pair of 8-foot T8 slimline lamps. 59w per lamp.
Even though these are electronic/HF, I really have nothing against them.
This one is a first generation unit, and is quite a bit bigger than the modern ones (its same size as a T12 magnetic slimline ballast)

Such thing as a magnetic 8' T8 slimline ballast did exist, and was 50w per lamp (those old ballasts & lamps are apparently interchangeable with the modern stuff :) I do have one vintage T8 slimline lamp)

Thats an awsome bit of kit, we never had an 8 foot twin ballast here, they just used 2 searate ones.

8 foot twin ballasts are the common thing here, single lamp are rare! (but I think the reason is they were either magnetic instant-start or rapid-start and ran the lamps in series (more energy efficient than doing 2 singles)) I've never seen or even heard of any switch-start 8 footers here....well except those few collectors have had shipped over Smile
