Now that’s interesting, you would think they would use them retro ‘golden’ LED filament lamps like every restaurant here are?, interesting use of those tri-pendants too, one of the pubs here have used the same, (in quad form), but on a very low ceiling!!!, and has had to bunch them up, which looks a bit naff!

Indeed, I would have thought so too but they would have been too bright IMO. These don’t glare at all and give a nice warm light. I saw two types in use, the normal “up and down zig zag” lamps but also some where the filament was spiral wrappep top to bottom.

Surly this isn’t the main room lighting though, would be a bit dark at night?, unless the way their spread about evenly lights the room?, are the wall lights GLS too?

Yeah, I guess it would be cosy lol. I’m deffo going to go to this place again as that steak I had was massive and really nice.

If I were the installer, I’d have probably gone for chandelier’s in here, to bounce light of the ceiling Cool

That's nice to see. There's a small pub called the Nook and Cranny that I visited on the outskirts of Bolton which is lit entirely by tungsten squirrel cage lamps. They had the AC on full whack to keep the temperature down in there!

This type of installation is all the rage at the moment! See lighting like this popping up in all manner of swanky restaurants and bars.

My mate runs a few shops and he has a similar set up. See it all over now.
