These look better than the standard LED panels you see everywhere now. Most T5 recessed lights had some sort of optics design which looked nice I think. Mixing colour temps makes it look unprofessional but most people probably just think as long as they're on they're fine.

Must have 2 x twin 14w ballasts in as only one side was off. 4 lamp ballasts shut off all lamps when a single lamp fails normally?

My Philips HF performers 4 x 14w run in pairs. I have a one with a fault where one tube doesn't work and the other 3 work normally still.

Are you sure these are 14W mark and not 24W HO, that would explain the 2 seporite ballasts as I don’t think a 4X24W was made but 4X14 was?

Yeah 14w, was a sticker on the side that is not visible in the photo. These are dimmable too. They have light sensors dotted about the ceiling so the ones near the windows dim down to almost nothing when the sun is shining in and the ones further into the building are steadily brighter.

Pet hate of mine - random, mixed tube colours. Nothing beats a nice uniform colour installation.

I know a a place with loads of fluorescent fittings and the colour temps must be from 3500k - 6500k tubes all mixed up. They're all different ages so some are brighter too.
