Thorn EMI 8w Minipack FLJ1008 Inside bits

Just rescued out of an old control panel on the scrap heap. It's a bit rough and has a couple of holes drilled in the side, but of course it works fine. I've never seen one of these in person before, they don't seem as good as the Fitzgerald mini Lightpacks.

Yeah they are good solid fittings but as you said a I also prefer the Fitzy MLP for it’s lampholders.

The design of these is just a bit ugly too, with that weird pressed 'sump' shape on the sides of the spine amd the cover screw at one end
