Quite a small light aperture?
|
|

Bigger than it looks tbh. For scale, it’s slightly over a meter tall and about 22cm wide.

|

That's very nice!

That looks very similar to the Ansell bollard I have, but better built in all honesty. Who was the seller out of curiosity? I'd like a second bollard to install outside my new workshed when i eventually get it.

Seller was j0shea But doesn’t look like he has anymore in stock. There was a shorter black version in 35w G12 halide flavour but that must have sold too.

Looks a copy of the ansell type

Yeah, probably made in the same factory and sold under a load of different brands. Strange how the Ansell ones never came with a big conical reflector in the top dome though.

The Ansell ones did, but they were comparatively small, and any exposed interior paint in the top dome was black. The lamps were also set 80% inside the lower reflector, so light output from factory was dismal to say the least. Of course when I restored mine I sorted these issues out.

Ah right. From what I read about yours I got the impression that the entire dome was painted black.
