Ligman Columbus 2 70w SON: Primary & Secondary reflectors. Showing the lamp, a nice UK-made Osram Vialox (supplied by me) and the primary and secondary reflector system. It should output quite a nice spread of light I reckon. I’ve wired up a cable and will test this out when it gets dark. You can see how thick the castings are on this, really stoutly built and weighs a fair bit. I do have a real soft spot for bollard lights and I one day hope to acquire the daddy of all bollards: The Crompton Churchouse lol.

Pissing down today so I’ve brought it inside. An 11w PL-S will *not* fit and even a 9w PL-S would have to have the socket mounted low down so a fair bit of the lamp would be hidden by the lower reflector. Boils down to 35w SDW-T or 20W G12 CMH on the HID side or an E27 11w Philips PL-E or 16w SL-E Pro on the CFL side.
