Waste of taxpayer money 2

Back in September 2013, my street which was lit for the last 30+ years by Eleco GR150 SOX lanterns was re lit by WRTL Airtrace 2 lanterns in SON flavour on new steel columns.
However the footpath on one side of the street is quite far away from the road and behind a grass verge so it was left very poorly illuminated due to the new lanterns being a full cutoff design. To combat this, they installed all new columns along the pavement (big energy saving there by having to fit MORE lights to replace the SOX!!!) to light up the footpath. They use Urbis Evolo's in 45w Cosmowhite which again I quite liked. (On the left)
However on the 19th of September 2020 they were all removed and replaced with these LED things which I don't really care what they are! (On the right)
What a waste of money changing lanterns after only a few years of service! Stuff like this really winds me up tbh.
At least these ones on the footpath are a nice warm white, the ones lighting the road are a really horrible colour of white and are a lot dimmer than the son while being more glary!
