Good save Rich! These cost a lot when they were were a relatively new product. Can’t imagine they are cheap now.

I’ll have to look out for some more, when we get a executive car in like a Merc or BMW that has a smashed headlight, we change the whole unit for a new one, the old ones just go in the skip!, lucky I’m the one at work that orders the skips! Cool

My Volvo and my old 172 both had xenons, very reliable - rich you should make an outside light on a photocell for these see how long they last?

I lit these with an auto regulating step down transformer left over from my CB radio days, it would be interesting to measure the efficiency with that powering them all night?
