lol, these were some of the first lamps i bought as a kid, had the fireglow red one, and a jewel green and a jewel blue, the lacquer peeled and cracked not long after i had them, the older they are the worse it gets, poor quality really, its only a cheap spray on external coat, they looked nice lit when new, that be mid 80's i recon, they came in the old corrugated paper packets, crompton hawker siddley branded
