Assume those are some sort of LED?
Staffy   [28 Dec, 2020 at 10:15 PM]
Yes, these are LED street lights. These are the 12w version.

I'd be tempted to convert one to SOX
Slyspark   [28 Dec, 2020 at 11:21 PM]
SOX, or how cool would one of those be with a fluorescent tube in it?
Dave   [29 Dec, 2020 at 04:03 PM]
I actually wanna try converting one to SOX, they certainly look like they could be converted with relative ease.
Slyspark   [29 Dec, 2020 at 04:26 PM]
Only thing I'd caution you on if you did would be the heat from the SOX lamp and the fact these might well be plastic rather than glass tubes. I can see it getting a bit melty!!
Staffy   [29 Dec, 2020 at 05:06 PM]
The tubes are plastic, if any conversions was to happen i think fluorescent would be best
Slyspark   [29 Dec, 2020 at 05:13 PM]
I did wonder. I recon fluorescent would work well!
Danny   [29 Dec, 2020 at 08:46 PM]
How long do they measure
fluorescent   [30 Dec, 2020 at 01:33 PM]
T5 HO would go nicely in there I think
Slyspark   [30 Dec, 2020 at 10:11 PM]
I was thinking the same - a pair of T5 tubes would fit nicely and give a decent output!

I'd personally think about PL-L.
Slyspark   [31 Dec, 2020 at 02:20 PM]
Yes, PL-L would also be a great idea!
