Thorn EMI TLVA 50 12v halogen adapter Recent Ebay win! I really like these old school Thorn EMI products and had only ever seen this particular model in catalogues. Didn't come with a halogen lamp included but I have a couple of Thorn Lightstream halogen lamps of a similar age to go with it. This is VERY heavy, way heavier than any Philips SL!

Interesting. I've never seen one like this. I have a Thorn 12v MR16 PAR converter but it has a reflector so it still looks like a PAR lamp from the front.
