wont be London Bus company, if they where for London, they would be stamped LT for London Transport Smile but a neat find none the less! I dont think iv ever seen a Thorn branded bus lamp before

I was led to beleive that buses used 24 volt lamps? we also used 24 volt lamps in emergency lighting.

Thanks for the comments! Seeing as these are 12v B22 they might be train lamps? As I have some B22 12v train lamps.

these could still be for buses, most buses as you say are 24V but some had 12V bits and bobs that used 12V lamps and it could have also been used in smaller buses with 12V electrical systems like the old van based midi buses etc Smile
