Starflash 1w Xenon strobe lamps These were found on Ebay, they are probably obviously Chinese made but seem to have been imported by a French company (Blachere Illumination). They flash about once every one and a half seconds. These kinds of xenon lamps were popular with councils, etc. for outdoor Christmas lighting installations.

These are quite cool. I have one somewhere that looks similar but I don't remember ever buying it...

Guildford used to have units like this in the light features that would be hung over the street, or fixed to lighting columns at Xmas. Something I always wanted for use in my own display, but never managed to find.

I'd love to stick a red one in a batten fitting above the bathroom door which is triggered by a low voltage microswitch on the toilet seat which switches when somebody sits on it Laughing
