I have EKCO, and ATLAS double life daylight T12 15w's.. Surprised at the short lifespan.

They must have deteriorated somehow - lost pressure or contaminated. Double Life became One Tenth Life.

Nothing wrong with the fitting - modern Thorn Arrowslim with original control gear and starter selected not to cold start the tube if at all possible.
