Sylvania 175w Metalarc BT28: Full power on 240v 50hz CWA. Decided to give this lamp a good run on that Parmar 175w that I have for 240v 50hz. Quite a nice lamp, give off quite a warm colour.

You can see the colour upgrade these must have had when they swapped them from MVs in the US?

Yes, especially as they seemed to use clear MV quite heavily too long after coated lamps were introduced. Imagine going from a clear mercury lamp and then sticking one of these in!
